Corrections policy
How to report an error, and how we fix it in the open.
Tell us
If you think something on this site is wrong (a fee, a spread, a licence, a date, a claim), email [email protected] with "Correction" in the subject. Include the page address, what you think is wrong and, if you can, a source. Brokers are welcome to report errors about themselves too; the same rules apply.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your email within two working days.
- We check the claim against primary sources: the broker's documents, the regulator's register, our own accounts.
- If we were wrong, we fix the page, usually within five working days, and faster for anything about regulation or risk.
- We tell you what we changed, or why we did not.
Visible correction notes
When we correct a fact or figure, we add a dated note at the end of the page saying what changed, for example: "12 Nov 2026: the EUR/USD commission was $7.00 per lot, not $6.00." We do not change figures silently, and we do not delete notes. Spelling and formatting fixes are not noted.
If a correction changes a broker's score, the review's "reviewed" date is updated and the note says so.
What is not a correction
A disagreement with a score or an opinion is not an error, but we read every message and it may inform the next full review. Requests to remove a fair negative review, or to change a score in exchange for anything, are refused: see the Editorial policy.
